Guide6 October 2026

Here is what you need to play WoW: Forever and what the extra packs add, checked on 6 October 2026. Prices can change, so check the Blizzard shop before buying.

Playing at launch

Launch is on 4 November 2026. According to TechSpot, the game is available at no extra cost to players with an active WoW subscription or game time. The extra packs unlock the new Skyborne race and cosmetics.

Beta access

The beta started on 17 September 2026 with a level cap of 30. TechSpot reports it needed either the Skyborne Epic Pack ($60) or the Warcraft Forever Collection ($80). The physical Collector's Edition ($150) also included access.

The Skyborne packs

Two other guides we checked describe a Skyborne Heroic Pack at $29.99 that unlocks the Skyborne race. Early name reservation is for players with the Skyborne Epic Pack or higher, from 27 October. See our key dates guide for the full timeline.

What we could not confirm

The prices above come from the sources linked below, and we have not confirmed them with Blizzard's own shop. Regional prices (for example in the UK) may differ.
