How Clip Tavern ranks WoW clips and what the tiers mean

Guide6 October 2026

Clip Tavern lists popular World of Warcraft clips from Twitch and shows the best of each week, sorted by game version, type of moment and language.

Where clips come from

Every hour the site asks Twitch for the most watched World of Warcraft clips of the last day, week and month. We do not host or copy video. Each clip plays from Twitch using its own embedded player and links back to the streamer.

How ranking works

Lists such as "this week" are sorted by views. The home page and moment pages use a score that also rewards newer clips, so fresh clips are not buried by older ones.

What the tiers mean

Every clip carries a tier from Common to Legendary. The tier compares a clip's views with the other clips on the site: Legendary is the top three in a hundred, Epic the next ten, and so on down to Common.

Version, moment and language

A clip is placed under Forever, Classic or Retail using its title and our list of streamers. This is a best guess and is sometimes wrong, so if you spot a mistake tell us. Moments such as raids, deaths or PvP come from words in the clip title.
