WoW: Forever classes and races: the six new combinations
Everything confirmed so far about classes and races in WoW: Forever, checked on 6 October 2026. We update this page as Blizzard publishes more.
The six new combinations
Two guides we checked list the same six combinations, and they come with a normal subscription:
- Alliance: Dwarf Shaman, Human Hunter and Gnome Priest.
- Horde: Undead Paladin, Orc Mage and Troll Warlock.
Skyborne, the new race
Skyborne is a new elven race that starts on Zephras Isle (levels 1 to 12). It is unlocked with a paid pack, and you choose Horde or Alliance when you create the character. Skyborne can be Druids on both sides, Shamans on the Horde side and Mages on the Alliance side, and cannot be Paladins or Priests.
Paladin changes
Paladins get baseline changes in Forever, including an instant Holy Strike at level 6, a Judgment that no longer consumes the seal, a new tank seal called Seal of Fury, and Consecration at level 20. Even so, Paladins still have no interrupt and no slow.
Talents
The talent trees have been rebuilt: three trees, with one-point milestone talents at 11, 21 and 31 points plus a new one at 16.
What we could not confirm
Full details for some classes, including Mage, Rogue, Shaman and Warlock, have not been published yet. We only list what has been confirmed.
